About Jose Ml. Alvarez

With a vision and passion for contemporary, functional architecture, Jose Ml. Alvarez embarked on his architectural journey, earning his Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, in 2006. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master's degree in "3D Design and Visual Simulation in Architecture" from Fundació UPC (Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña) in 2008 and a Master's degree in "Advanced Architecture" at the IAAC (Instituto de Arquitectura Avanzada de Cataluña) in Barcelona, Spain, in 2009.

After 14 years of enriching experience at Selman Arquitectos, where he ascended to the position of director, Jose Ml. ventured into independent practice, founding Alvarez Estudio de Arquitectura in 2024.
